“Wild Tales” is a six story anthology with the central theme of violence and passionate revenge running in all stories. From the story of the person who feels they have to right all perceived wrongs to a story about betrayal and the road to forgiveness. I especially liked the story called “Las Ratas” where a criminal, swindler stops into an empty diner and is spotted by the now grown up daughter of on of his victims. This particular story is a tale of of wickedness with the just desserts that follow.

I liked the way this anthology took a look at violence and revenge and even tried to define it somewhat. It really does confirm that violence is really a form of insanity. Some of the cases seem justified while others are delusional thinking and pettiness. The best example of pettiness is the story of “El Mas Fuerte” where two drivers end up in a fierce struggle over passing each other on the road. It´s kinda funny to see the lengths the two driver go to get each other.

So, check out “Wild tales” I´m sure you´ll enjoy the good watch.
