“The Sixth Sense” is the story of child psychologist Malcolm Crowe, played by Bruce Willis, who has a patient with the gift of being able to talk to dead people. That patient is Cole Sear, played by Haley Joel Osment, is brought to Malcolm because he is strange and his mother is worried about his social development. Malcolm is a compassionate man with a strained relationship with his wife who is cold and distant toward him. The relationship between Malcolm and Cole turns out to be mutually beneficial with a revelation that is completely unpredictable and shocking.

This is one of the best thrillers with an ending that wraps everything up and explains all those little things that just don’t make sense during the story. Take for example the cold relationship between Malcolm and his wife. There is a lot more to the relationship between Malcolm and his wife so pay special attention to it while you’re watching. Also pay particular attention between the relationship with Malcolm and Cole. There are subtle cuesthat will have you saying “Oh. Oh. Of course. Why didn’t I see that in the first place?”. So as not to give away any spoilers, pay particular attention to Malcolm while you’re watching because he is at the center of the story no matter how much Cole might seem like he is. I will say no more about that. This is a thriller like no other.

M. Night Shyamalan is a writer who really tries to give us clear messages and good ending to his stories and he mostly succeeds and he particularly succeeds in his film “The Sixth Sense”. This is not his only great film with a great ending and great twists and turns in the story that M. Night Shyamalan has given us and it is his most famous for a good reason. He really strives to give us stories that keep us in our seats and never regrets we did and this film is a good example of this. That is why he can put his name on his films and people will come to see it. He is a great story teller, without a doubt.

So, check out “The Sixth Sense” because it is well worth your time and make sure not to read up on it before you do because you want to be surprised at the end. That is the main draw of the film. This film is great fun.
