“The Adventures of Pluto Nash” is the story of  retired smugglers now nightclub owner Pluto Nash, played by Eddie Murphy. The nightclub Pluto bought is a thriving one under his ownership but he has to keep it out of mob control and ownership by proxy. All of this takes place on the moon colony called `Little America´in the year 2080. Add the young woman named Dina Lake, played by Rosario Dawson, who is also the daughter of one of Nash´s friend and you have a volatile adventure.

“The Adventures of Pluto Nash” is a fun adventure story that harkens back to scifi adventure films from the previous decade. It has some good ideas and interesting visions of society in the not-too-distant future. The colonies of Little America and Moon Beach are convincing looks at what colonies might look like in the not-too-distant. It´s funny how societies might change, grow and become more technologically advanced but the people and their adventures are the same.

This is a fun film to watch that´s pretty funny too with a fine cast of talent. I recommend it as an unpretentious  fun watch. So go check it out. I was pleasantly surprised with this film.
