This Broadway musical is the life of Alexander Hamilton from his birth in the West Indies to his death in a duel with Aaron Burr. We learn of his mother´s death at 12 and his father´s abandonment. We learn that he was a hard working lad who helped run a shipping company at age 14. It is a modern and exciting take on a very interesting man who contributed so much to the founding of our nation.

Here are a few facts: Alexander Hamilton was born in January 11th, 1755 or 1757 in Charlestown, Saint Kitts and Nevis in the West Indies, Caribbean. He is one of the Founding Fathers of the United States of America and was George Washington´s chief staff aide. He was one of the most influential promoters of the U.S. Constitution and founded the nation´s financial system. He was the first Secretary of the treasury and was responsible for most of the economic policies of the George Washington administration. He is a pivotal figure in American history.

This is a vibrant and modern telling of the story of a great man. An orphan, father, politician and Founding Father of The United States of America. The music and choreography are just excellent. I´m not surprised Hamilton” made Broadway because it really is a gem. I highly recommend people go see this musical. It´s informative and a lot of fun. I really enjoyed “Hamilton”.
