Generally I try to pick less known people who´ve had a large impact on society for my spotlight editorial but seeing what a large impact he is having on Broadway and the whole entertainment industry I had to do it. I don´t care so much about the famous, infamous or super wealthy because the media worships them enough anyway. I feel that Daveed Diggs fits the decription of someone who has not yet achieved media worship, but probalbly will soon, and who has had a huge impact on the arts and our society as a whole.

I have to say that he was fantastic in ”Hamilton”, as was Lin-Manuel Miranda and the whole cast of course. So many artists are almost dormant or unheard of until they get the right role, then they shine bright. Daveed Diggs at his roles in ”Hamilton” was such an occassion and I´m sure he has so much more to offer the arts.

So, I think it´s safe to say that we all look forward to seeing this dashing, hugely creative, talented artist more. I strongly encourage everybody to check out his projects and definitely go see ”Hamilton”.
